Alan is dependable and reliable. He’s good.
I phoned Alan’s Gas Services at 8.30am and they arrived as agreed at 2.00pm promptly the same day.
They located the central heating boiler problem and explained exactly what they were doing. Their knowledge and customer service was excellent – highly recommended.

Alan explained the system. What we could re use from the existing system. What we shouldn’t re use because it was more hassle than worth. And what our options were to save money. He gave us a price and identified where it might cost more if he couldn’t reuse something. They worked cleanly and quickly. Completed the job bang on time, exactly as he’d said, he reused all the pumps and controls he could, only buying one extra part where he felt the old part wasn’t worth the risk.

When we woke up freezing on a Sunday morning and found that our central heating boiler had stopped working we were dismayed, but immediately called Alan. Our system was pretty old and needed replacing, however Alan managed to patch it up and keep it going until time and the weather allowed us to have it replaced.

We have used Alan for a couple of projects at our property, namely replacing all the radiators and fitting two new gas fires, as well as the odd helping hand in helping us with a problem or two. In all occasions he has been flexible, professional and his work has been of a high quality. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending him.
Our boiler kept dropping pressure overnight and switching itself off. Turned out it was a problem with the expansion vessel. Steve was great. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem efficiently and sorted out our boiler problem quickly. Price was very reasonable. They were super busy but somehow managed to squeeze us in after finishing a boiler installation early. I called them late morning and he was around by early afternoon. This was despite it being a week or so before Christmas. Everything working fine so far.
